FOX’s week was highlighted by the stellar performances of AMERICAN
IDOL, HOUSE, 24 and the debut of LIFE ON A STICK. The series premiere of
LIFE ON A STICK marks FOX's highest rated Thursday scripted series debut
in five and a half years among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 (both since
the Action preview, 9/16/99 at 9:00 PM) and in over 12 years among Total
Viewers (since Down The Shore, 12/3/92 at 9:30 PM). LIFE ON A STICK posted
FOX's highest ratings in the 9:30-10:00 PM half hour in over two years
among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 (both since the Michael Jackson
interview on 2/20/03). In a unique week, AMERICAN IDOL, which aired on
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, continued to dominate the competition in
key demographics. On Thursday, the AMERICAN IDOL results show posted an
8.6/22 among Adults 18-49 with 20.2 Mil Total Viewers and delivered FOX's
highest ratings in the Thursday 9:00-9:30 PM time period in almost six and
a half years among Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers (both since movie
Jumanji on 11/26/98, excluding sports). New FOX hit drama HOUSE posted a
6.8/17 among Adults 18-49 with 17.3 Mil Total Viewers and won its hour in
all key measures. Through 14 hours, 24 is up an amazing +24% in Adults
18-49 and +30% in Total Viewers compared to the same telecasts last season
(10/28/03-2/17/04). For the week, FOX ranked No. 1 among Adults 18-34,
Teens, Persons 12-34 and ranked No. 2 among Adults 18-49.

Season-to-date, Among Adults 18-49, FOX ranks No. 1 with a 4.1/11 and
No. 1 among Adults 18-34 (3.8/12), Teens (3.1/11) and Persons 12-34

audience, delivering 5.3 Mil Adults 18-49 versus second place CBS (5.2

Highlights
The series debut of FOX comedy LIFE ON A STICK posted a 4.0/10 among
Adults 18-49 and marked FOX's highest rated Thursday scripted in-season
series debut in five and a half years among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34
(both since the Action preview, 9/16/99 at 9:00 PM) and in over 12 years
among Total Viewers (since Down The Shore, 12/3/92 at 9:30 PM).
LIFE ON A STICK posted FOX's highest ratings in the 9:30-10:00 PM half
hour in over two years among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 (both since the
Michael Jackson interview on 2/20/03).
AMERICAN IDOL-TUE outdelivered the comparable Tuesday performance
episode last year (on 3/23/04), by +2% among Adults 18-49 (11.6/31 vs.
11.4/30) and +3% in Total Viewers (27.6 vs. 26.8 Mil).
On Wednesday, a special 1-hr re-do performance episode of AMERICAN IDOL
delivered an 9.0/21 among Adults 18-49 with 20.9 Mil Total Viewers.
On Thursday at 9:00 PM, a special AMERICAN IDOL results show posted an
8.6/22 among Adults 18-49 with 20.2 Mil Total Viewers. AMERICAN IDOL won
its half hour among all key measures and delivered FOX's highest ratings
in the Thursday 9:00-9:30 PM time period in almost six and a half years
among Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers (both since movie Jumanji on
11/26/98, excluding sports), in over six years among Adults 18-34 (since
Shocking Behavior: Caught on Tape on 2/25/99, excluding sports) and in
over four years among Teens (since movie Scream 2 on 1/18/01).
AMERICAN IDOL substantially outperformed a special Thursday results
show last year (on 4/15/04) by +39% among Adults 18-49 (8.6/22 vs.
6.2/19), +39% among Adults 18-34 (7.5/21 vs. 5.4/18), +23% among Teens
(5.4/18 vs. 4.4/16) and +32% in Total Viewers (20.2 vs. 15.3 Mil).
New FOX hit drama HOUSE posted a 6.8/17 among Adults 18-49 with 17.3
Mil Total Viewers and won its hour in all key measures: Adults 18-49,
Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54, Households, Women
18-49/18-34/25-54, Men 18-49/18-34/25-54 and Teens. HOUSE was also the No.
2 program of the night in all key measures (behind only AMERICAN IDOL).
HOUSE continues to show incredible gains compared to it prior season
average, increasing +58% among Adults 18-49 (6.8/17 vs. 4.3/10), +58%
among Adults 18-34 (5.7/16 vs. 3.6/10), +58% in Teens (3.8/12 vs. 2.4/8)
and +62% in Total Viewers (17.3 vs. 10.7 Mil).
In the 9:00 PM hour, HOUSE outperformed its nearest competitor by +48%
among Adults 18-49 (6.8/17 vs. 4.6/11 for CBS' Amazing Race), +46% among
Adults 18-34 (5.7/16 vs. 3.9/11 for CBS), +31% in Teens (3.8/12 vs. CBS'
2.9/9) and +40% in Total Viewers (17.3 vs. CBS' 12.4 Mil).
FOX's THE O.C. delivered a 3.7/11 among Adults 18-49, its highest share
in over 10 months (since 5/5/04). THE O.C. won its hour among Adults
18-34, Teens and Women 18-34 and delivered its highest Women 18-49 so far
this season.
Through 14 hours, 24 is up an amazing +24% in Adults 18-49 (5.2/12 vs.
4.2/11) and +30% in Total Viewers (12.6 vs. 9.7) compared to the same
telecasts last season (10/28/03-2/17/04).
So far in its new Monday time period, NANNY 911 has outdelivered FOX's
prior season average in the time period (excluding sports) by +9% among
Total Viewers (10.0 Mil vs. 9.2 Mil) and +7% among Teens (3.0/9 vs.
2.8/9).

programs for the week among Teens (No. 14).
FOX drama 24 posted a 4.7/12 among Adults 18-49 and won the 9:00 PM
hour among Adults 18-34, Men 18-49, Men 18-34 and Men 25-54. 24 ranked No.
2 in the hour among Adults 18-49.
